re Live recordings AIFF/WAV files?

Hello guys,
I am about to buy LIVE to use on my iBook 600mhz with REASON and I also want to record vocals. I figured that LIVE is the kind of app I want as I dont really need Cubase or Logic. They have too much stuff that I dont need. My question is...Will LIVE record my vocals as an AIFF or WAV file? Or does it have its own kind of file. I am asking becuase I want to be able to put my vocals into the samplers in REASON.

YOUR IN LUCK THOSE ARE THE ONLY FILE TYPES LIVE WILL EXCEPT.
DAMN THOSE SD 2 FILES!!!!!!!
