+1, I was suprised this feature wasn't available.. we need to be able to record automation into a session view clip too! I like to jot down controller movements live when im working in session view.

a +1 from me for multiple overlaid automation lanes ... similar to Logic's presentation of Automation data.

Oh yeah of course I'd like to record Clip automation via my MIDI controllers into Clip Envelopes in Session view too ...

Thanks to my E6600 CPU, and Live 6's racks, I'm using more tracks, and more synths than ever. Editing automation for these things takes up a LOT of my arranging sessions. If multiple automation lanes ARE NOT in Live 7, I doubt I will be buying it.
