Re: coloured scene groups.....
Explain what you mean a little more as I am confused. Do you mean the clips or the actual scene including the scene launch on the far right?forge wrote:so i can have a groups of scenes per song and have them instantly visually recognisable in groups
You can select all clips in a scene, then go to the clip detail view and then change the color for all of them at once.
I like the colored track idea

no the idea is to colour the scenes themselves, and also tracks otherwise clps cant get moved aboutkennerb wrote:Explain what you mean a little more as I am confused. I like the colored track idea
for eg. in a DJ style set I'm putting together I have 4 group tracks acting like 4 decks - I have 4 faders on my UC-33 setup to receive them A,B,C,D - then I have all the individual tracks with clips on them routed to those tracks
sometimes I'll have 3 or 4 tracks routed to A, same for B etc etc - it would be alot easier if I could assign everything going to A the same colour so you can see at a glance which ones are going to fader A - at the moment I use the crossfade buttons as visual cues but there are only 2 of them so it's only half useful
Still in need of this - would be really useful - at least as an option. ideally with different shades as you go down through scenes.

Yes, I agree tracks should be the option to be more colored (also in arrangement view). Coloring clips isn't always enough in big sets.
