legit questions cool
figuring out m-box bullshit has nothing to do with ableton live, hotshots always have some gimp to fix that kinda stuff.
best way to learn is to ask questions, not to boast about contacts and reps . . .
whatever , hope this revolutionizer of hip hop music finds his way around live with all the help windows and such . . ..

wtf do I care what revolutions the user made. that doesn't change a thing, he's a Live user like all others.
FACT: The telephone support service does not have to guide you thru LEARNING the program. Try to phone Steinberg and say "Hello I don't know how to work with Cubase can you teach it all thru the phone" and see what answer you get
Was interesting to see however all the persons who immediatly offered help when they saw a "name they could recognise". Nice going.

As opposed to what you're doing, which is acting hard on the internet but can't even tag your name to it. And what "persons" would these be? I've seen like two genuine responses and the rest, yourself included, seem to have some kind of axe to grind. Also, you spelled "immediately" and "recognize" wrong. Ironic, because recognize is what you ought to be doing.
But you guys do have a point. Everyone should get equal treatment when it comes to cocky, unhelpful responses instead of real help. I've been considering picking up Live, but I have no idea how to operate it. So if I can't make it work with my Pro Tools rig, can I count on the members here to make fun of me and mock me too? If you're all in a position to act that way, name one thing you ever put out that wasn't a CDR.

No. You spelled 'recognise' wrong. Look it up in any proper English dictionary - ie., one that's not written by Americans.Anonymous wrote: Also, you spelled "immediately" and "recognize" wrong. Ironic, because recognize is what you ought to be doing.

Suit #1: I mean, have you got any insight as to why a bright boy like this would jeopardize the lives of millions?
Suit #2: No, sir, he says he does this sort of thing for fun.

I don't need a name
I'm sure everyone would have given help if the user just came here in a humble way, making a clear post from the begining, exposing doubts in an organized way, instead of bragging about putting albums out since 96 and criticizing tech support (which are supposed to be there to solve technical issues with the program, not to give u a detailed walkthrough of each function and answering "what does this button do").
As for the "oh you mispelled words X and Y" and "name one thing you ever put out that wasn't on a CD-R". Back to kindergarten, because that's where those arguments belong.

"biogen" and his ilk = jackasses
Some good arguments in this thread as to why I pray Ableton someday limits this forum to registered users. Live's manual is an "acquired taste" and some of its concepts are not immediately apparent. The first poster did have quite a bit of frustration and some attitude but it seemed pretty clear all he needed was a kick start. Some peeps don't take naturally to software audio production...especially if they spent more time with "old school" tech and eqpt.
Not all Guests are jackasses but plenty of them are (sometimes reg users forget to log in too). But I was glad to see the helpful people who've chimed in here. I don't know producto or hip hop from my middle leg but like someone said, he's a Live user or potential one and that's good enuf.
Unfortunately what always happens is that eventually the flamers and time wasters drown out and drive away the helpful friendly people...
Regards to those who deserve regards,
