supatrigga has gone...

Post by Shane 54 » Fri Mar 30, 2007 1:41 am

Hello Everyone

I've put my hands on a MacBook Pro just recently. :D

On the first powerup it asked me if I want to transfer my settings (data) from my previous laptop (I wanted). My new mac flies pretty flawlessly and most of the stuff works no problem. Apart from SupaTrigga.
I downloaded and installed the most recent version of Live, the Universal Binary version of ST, however at startup Live says the plugin can't be found I should check preferences (I have it in the template session)

Has anyone any idea on what could be wrong or how to avoid this problem?

Thanks

Shane

ST is working fine on my MBPro.

Perhaps ST has not been installed in the correct Library folder? i.e. your User Library as opposed to your general Library (or vice versa).

Locate the Supatrigga Component and copy it to the other Library > Audio > Plug-Ins > Components folder.

hope this helps

I can't remember, but did supatrigga used to be vst only and then become AU after Universal binary or was that livecut?

Anyway, I was thinking maybe it was looking for a vst version and you now have an AU version or something. I'd just double check that it's not lookin' for one typw when in fact you're using another. You can see the AU in your list though?

i have had the same problem - any of my sessions that used SupaTrigga no longer
can find it, even tho I installed the new UB version
but that is right, its now an AU not a VST
bummer is it lost all my ST settings...
gonna have to boot up my old mac, scribble notes
& then reset the new AU to the same prefs...

what happened to the GUI too? its kinda geenric looking now
& i'm sure it used to have a bit more personality...
