Live 7
Faster loop preview, panic button/safe mode if the vst scan freaks out on boot up ( or you select thr wrong folder),
I restore defaults button that deletes the preferences.cfg if you have issues,
Freaking midi mapping for drum pads on the AXIOm
better gm read, and a GM engine for loading up midi files
NINJAS that leap out of the spidiff out and go kill those who harass you on how much time you are spending in the basement
A monkey named Mojo that can get beer out of the fridge

Computer games don't effect kids... If Pacman affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music

No niche features ie: OSC, warping video/video rendering, inbuilt Sascha emulation or any form of device or functionality that takes yet another software revision, or two, to properly implement and takes time away from the basics - audio production. At least until MIDI & monitoring are fixed: http://www.ableton.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=52985
in addition to all that's been suggested ( wih exception to an "ignore hoffman2k and tone deft" button):
Track Grouping
Thanx, That's all for now.

We're at the sixth version and this is still not available!!! How could we name this application "Live" without this necessary feature???
It's a shame...
but I love you Ableton people

Some people just seem to think that a thread that starts out with "for fudge sake.." will have a better impact then the forum dedicated to the purpose.
Also, if you think you'll see the things mentioned here in Live 7... Think again.
Some of these features might make it, because they were planned already anyway.
But i wouldn't get my hopes up on anything.
Only Ableton knows what Live 7 is going to be. And I'm sure they've known this for months.
Essentially we should be talking about Live 8.
But its hard, since we dont know what to complain about yet in Live 7
We can still complain about Live 6... But I've been there, done that...
