Liking it so far - what's the glitchy track at around 16'?

Very good - how much of the re-editing is done by you then? I'm only really familiar with the Radiohead track in its original form and the version there is very different and fits in well with your mix - your own work?

The warm up I found a bit slow for my taste, feel it only really gets going at the 14' mark, but then it's great all the way and really like the melodic ultra-slow down right at the end - tastefully done. Good stuff - I'll be listening to the mix again a few times, I think.

Cheers.

Oh yeah - the mixing itself is faultless too. Good work. :-)

cheers substance, i know what you mean about the slightly slow build up too.

re-edits: radiohead re-edit is completely my own, prefuse / forss is heavily re-edited by me too. there's a few rearranged breaks going on throughout as well and a load of FSU effects. most track intros and outros have been creatively reforged to fit in.

glad you enjoyed it and thanks for comments - it's my first DJ mix with ableton so i really wanted some feedback. gets a bit disheartening when there's been over 100 downloads but no one feels the need to comment.

Aye, I know what you mean - though I spend more of my time listening to other people's stuff instead of making my own. Don't get to listen to half the stuff that people post on here, and I don't bother commenting stuff that's not my taste. But there are some gems on here and it's nice to be able to tell people so :-)

I'll keep an eye out for the next mix. Impressed with the extensive re-editing. Out of interest, how long did it take to complete the whole set?

hard to say...started off working just an hour a night then put in some full days near the end. it was for a one-off DJ gig i had.

i reckon maybe 5 or 6 full days.

don't know how soon when i'll start on the next, might depend if i get another gig...

Great Job. Really enjoyed this mix. The track selection is right up my alley.
The edits and transitions all sounded good. Wish I had some more constructive criticism for ya but I'm no expert.

I recently made my first mix with Live and had a great time.

If you make another be sure to pass it on.

From time to time this mix comes up in iTunes, I really like it alot.
Have you done anything like this mix since it was released?
My old signature was pretty stupid, so I changed it to this one.
