im listening now
sounds a little rigid and dry, starting to get a little repetative

my advice
try layering some sounds up, also layer some percussion up and put some effects on stuff
im not sure what type of music this is. Maybe its ment to sound this way
as you said it is a work in progress and i would like to hear the finished version
thanks
fred
this is just my opinion so please dont take offence

use a nintendo drum emulator for ur drums

add some bass and use some saturator n shit on the leads

go to www.theremixcompany.co.uk and listen to some of the stuff up there n i feel u will find some of the mixes on the homepage suitable for inspiration with where ur headed

oh i'm not gonna take offense man... this is just my hobby

i guess i wanted to see what i could do with just really simple rockish drums, bass and synth. i purposely didn't try to put alot of layered sounds into it.... it sounds a little cheesy to me, but then again almost everything i've tried to make ends up sounding that way

i took it down temporarily, because i might do a little more work on it. honestly i'd rather just start on something new though so we'll see.

thanks for the replies
