long time to load clips?

long time to load clips?

Hey there, I'm having problems when I try and load ( listen) to the live clips that come with live. It takes about 30 sec or so and is realy frustrating cause sometimes only half is audible. My PC is running at 2.0Ghz 512Mb ram. When I was using Live 5 I never had this problem. But when I load from my own library its right on. Any suggestions? Thanks people,

Ps. is there a way to set up my Pc so I use more memory for Ableton?

It is often suggested you run AT LEAST 1 gig of ram. That could be your problem.
