Ableton and DTS

Post by vijaywins » Wed Mar 28, 2007 2:35 pm

Is there any possibility to have a DTS output without the usage of Cubase or Sonar?

Cubase doesn't have DTS, you must be thinking of Nuendo? And no, Live does not have DTS output.

Latest Cubase 4 have DTS. Yes, I use Nuendo for DTS.
Thank you.

There are DTS encoding programs you can use on their own. Export five audio files from Live and then encode them into an DTS wav.

However, Live is hardly the best program for surround mixing. I would stick with Nuendo for that. Perhaps make the audio tracks in Live and then do the surround mix in Nuendo?
