Xytar - I know you're from another planet but earthlings love their mp3 players, try one, it'll help you integrate into society.
i see them as more of a fashion statement (like blue tooth head sets) than a media player
People don't mean to impress you. It'll take some time for you to come to know the ways of humans, we're not always vain.

Why do I smile

Ableton Live's little orange dot.
Sporks seem useful however. Never used one though.

if you know of a better way to stick 10,000 songs into your pocket I'd love to hear it.
It was as if someone shook up a 6 foot can of blood soda and suddenly popped the top.

The Humvee. Or atleast making the thing available to the general public.
Things supposed to be a weapons platform for gods sake, carrying TOW missles and machine guns, not reckless soccer mom's high on valium speeding through down town..

Salt.
All this water on our planet and so little of it actually drinkable.
Salt was a bad idea.
I do like it on sandwiches with pepper though.

minidisc recorders. such an interesting idea, implemented so badly. Every minidisc recorder I have ever had has died on me in the long run.

That is a quality and interesting observation.......
However, I do usually find wiping them off helps (not saying yours are dirty though)
