HAVE MERCY AND HELP ME GET MY REMOTE SL WORKING W/MIDISTROKE

please..it is driving me fucking insane.. I can not get my remote sl to work on mac with midistroke no matter what i do.. however it does work on my padKontrol...
WHY?????

I have posted this question multiple times with no answer...

AM I THE ONLY PERSON HERE WITH A REMOTE SL WHO WANTS TO USE IT WITH MIDISTROKE ON MAC????????

if anyone has this working, can you please tell me what you do, so i can copy it to see what is going wrong???

for example: i have alt-up,alt-up,alt-up in midistroke as cc number 23, channel 8

this works on my padKontrol, but when I try to assign the drumpads on my sl as a cc with 23 on chanel 8, nothing happens...

i can get mackie controls to wrok on the drumpads in sl so why not midistroke?

You have to pay attention to the "value" column in Midistroke. Set the low/high output values for the intended control on the SL (using the edit button), and then make sure you add a trigger level in Midistroke in the "value" field.

and should button type in the edit page of sl be velocity?normal?

So you're trying to setup certain buttons on the Remote SL so it acts like a control surface?

My Remote 25 SL is being delivered today. How complicated is it to set this up?

Anyone have an example of how they have their buttons setup?

I got it working in Mackie mode no problem. Just assigned the note numbers on the drumpads..

But, when I try to do keystrokes on those buttons I am finding it impossible, even though I can get those same commands working with my PadKontrol....

I will try the tip that the person above posted about values; hopefully it will help because I have no idea why it works without a problem on my padKontrol but not my remote sl..

(midistroke on mac, and i definetly assigned the right port on midistroke)

ahhh... it worked on the padKontrol previously because it was sending note messages, which don't require the value column to be filled in.

I need some help with this as well.

If I have midistroke set up so that cc 23/ channel 2/ value 127 is alt + LEFT, how do I set up the novation button?

What type should I use? Normal? Momentary? Also, what should my high and low values be? I'm sure there's something very simple that I'm missing here, and I would appreciate any help.

i set mine so value on midistroke =0, and on the sl, high and low =o.
i made the button type velocity if i remember correctly.
