Can copy arrangrements between multiple instance of LIVE

Hi there..
I have a deadline for Monday on a project completely done in Live 6.
The arrangement is done, but I want to copy some of the arrangement into another new project in LIVE.
I open up another instance, but when I selcet the parts to be transfered to the otrher instance of LIVE I just get a black circle stop sign..
Can any one please tell me if it is possible to do move arrangements between multiple instances of LIVE and if so how to do it..
If this is not possible...it should be..

Its not possible.

Just drag the .als file of the project you want to import into the new project.
You don't need a second instance of live to do this.

I know thatmethod and used it all the time, I just wondered if u could copy an arrangement of 40 Tracks from one project to another for just doing a quick change of arrangement..would have thought you could, instead of manually arranging .als files one by one again..what a mission:<

You're confusing me..

You say you use it all the time but you seem to leave out the fact of why you would need multiple .als files..

Use 1 .als file that contains those 40 tracks.

Hi,

In Live 6, you can 'unfold' a Live set in the Browser, multi select the tracks you want to import, and drag them to the Arrangement. Is it what you are after?

AAA. ok, im confusing myself, normaly I go into the als files and import onto tracks, but recently I have created my own folder for clips and work out of them, they are in a different drive...ok got it now thanks alot for the help:>
