Inactive automation in arrangement view

I'm puzzled by this. Why is this happening and what's the purpose of it? I've tried turning the crossfade knob, clicking F10 but nothing happens

wtf is going on?

Hi,

Make sure that you don't have a controller mapped to the crossfader that would turn 'return to arrangement' ON automatically. Do you use any controller or have any virtual MIDI port enabled?

That's really weird. I just turned off and on the midi yoke inputs and now it works. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction
