triggering unwanted change of presets

Post by guitarguruguy35 » Mon Apr 09, 2007 8:11 am

I run Live with clips and synth plugins while I play guitar on stage.
I use a bomes midi translator and a footcontroller, ground control pro, to change the record enable to tracks I have different plugins on. This is great cause I can have as many midi tracks open as I want.
Heres the problem.
When I hit a button on my ground control pro to record enable different tracks it changes the presets on my synth plug ins.
Is there anyway to get by this.

I haven't messed with bomes in a while but I recall there is a way to tell it to send JUST note on, and not any other midi information that would be received by the plugins. There are forms on the bomes site that have answered this.

You can probably also follow this exactly http://www.bome.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1583
