Hi
What is the best way to convert a load of AIF's to Wav?
I know how to use itunes to convert but when you do it puts the ouptuted wavs all over the place and also keeps the unwanted AIF files. This just seems like a right carry on. Any ideas how this can be done easier either with or without itunes.

Just curious, why would you want to do this?

in iTunes...
do the conversion.
then sort the list by file type and you'll find all the AIFFs lumped together.
select.
delete.

You loose the names of the samples but just select all and rename .aiff
You end up with...
1.aiff
2.aiff
3.aiff
etc
etc
Just realised you want it the other way round but same thing!

not joking. and yeah totally lame. they are so 'professional' that a third party hacked the os and made it light years better than the legit akai version.

One of the main reasons is for use with mpc1000 also...
Plus, have an old pc with recycle that does not like aifs for some reason. I want to be able to organise the files within itunes easier. Tried automator but not possible with that.
Any suggestions
