Your kidding, right?

The thing about Apple users is they should wait a version or two before they upgrade to avoid MINOR bugs. I guess it dosen't matter to "upgrade" on the first day for Windows users for an OS like Vista because it's going to be bug ridden from start to finish...

Nope, not yet.
Tarekith, go check out bigbluelounge. There was a post by someone, who apparently might be from Apple, that might hint that Logic 8 or whatever it will be named (the app whose name we shall not speak) is not reliant on Leopard, and therefore might come prior to Leopard.

I am sure that there are parts of Logic that will be optimized for Leopard (perhaps leopard contains improvements to CoreAudio, and the 64 bit architecture) but it would seem rather counter-intuitive to not allow Logic to run on Tiger. Perhaps tomorrow we will hear something from the NAB conference.

I follow BBL, and I thought a lot of people were jumping the gun on what that guy was saying. He just asked a question and people took it that he was being coy. I don't know, i've been seeing so many people who claim to know when Leopard or Logic 8 is going to be released, I'm not believing any of it until I see it on the apple website.

That said, I was really hoping Logic 8 was coming out sooner rather than later

Yep, the rumors of a new LP have been perkin' around for about 8 months now.......

Besides, some people are new to logic pro and need time to get straight with it any ways........

The "it's cos of the iPhone" line wreaks of poor excuses for being good old fashioned late. I don't believe it.

I was responding more to the fact that over on Apple's Logic forum, some people were having a lot of issues with the 10.4.9 release and different AU validation. I guess what I mean is the mentality that you have to update whenever a company puts a new revision of their software out. Often it just creates headaches for the people who do it early.

S'all. I understand that Leopard is going to be cool, and the fact that it will be 64 is great as well.

Actually, you are absolutely right! My mistake, but then one must ask, if Tiger is already 64-bit, why is Apple making such a big deal of Leopard being 64 bit?
