Unforunately, there is no such thing as good trance.
you just havent heard any of the good trance becasue it stays clear of any mainstream attention. but there is some trance out there that makes some of that hip hop broken beat break stuff seem inferior. the repeditive nature of it is not from lack of talent. it is an electric mantra that is mimiking an ancient shamanic drum technique and it is usually played aroud 145-150 bpm because at that speed it gets close to the 16th's syncing up with the speed of your alpha and theta brain waves and thats just cool!!!

psytrance is nothing like that in the northwest. your thinking of the trance music that actually makes the mainstream media. mainstream trance is like that becasue its mainstream and the mainstream does not like the party kids so they make the party kids look like gay people but if you saw what was actually going on besides in magazines and TV you would notice that the party culture is way cool and not like a homosexual soap opera

you just proved it doesn't take talent, just 145-150 bpm!

how does the bpm have anything to do with talent? thats like saying everything everything except gabber and dnb and other generas of music that you cant dance easily to dont take any talent at all.

im not pissed at all, i just dont see how you can determine the talent of a musician strictly by the bpm his music is at most of the time. honest.

first off, not sure I quite understand what you are saying......
second, I certainly set myself up for a bashing.......but it would be great if someone could take a joke.
The title was "best drug for trance"......which I thought the "quietus" drug from "children of men" was a funny choice.......not to be so serious. Hell, it doesn't even exsist!
I am not in the offending catigory of people, regardless of what you have read.......I really was just trying to be funny and have nothing against the music form AT ALL!
peace!

Awwwwwwwww, this thread ended like every trance rave and indeed the entire genre itself, not with a bang but a whimper.
