inaccurate start position with rendered files
inaccurate start position with rendered files
Hi all, i've asked this before, but didn't get any replies so i'll try again.
When preping tracks to DJ with i render all parts which I am going to use as seperate wave file.
However these rendered files are no the same as the originals which the were rendered from... the start position is always a few miliseconds late.
I've worked out that if I rewarp the loop to take into account the inaccurate start position, there is a tempo difference of 0.03 bpm.
This isn't a huge problem, (such a small error is virtually unnoticable), but but I am a perfectionist, and I feel like i'm just wasting time having to correct these errors.
I've tried using different sound cards, buffer / latency settings, but I always get exactly the same error.
Many thanks for any replies.

Hi,
Could you send me one small audio file, with its associated asd file, and the Wav file resulting in the render? Please make the files small so they don't exceed 10 Mo all together. You can create a Live set with bith the not-rendered and the rendered file, and make a Live pack out of it, it will reduce the size by more or less a half. Send it to [email protected].
Thanks,
Amaury
