yeah, it's like
"short" is short but "long" is not long
there's a word for words that are "self-explanatory". but this word (which i can't remember) is NOT self explanatory. which makes it paradoxal. and useless.

You mean oxymoron?
It is in itself an oxymoron. It means sharp and dull.

My favorite oxymoron is "Microsoft Works" :lol:

i wikied "oxymoron", but it can't be itself an oxymoron, as oxymorons are made of 2 words.
anyway, this wasn't the word i was looking for. i guess it is really from years gone by.

I think it'd onomatopoetic - I heard it on the radio the other day. Like "crash", "honk" or "ring".
