(weird) out of sync-ness of rendered files

Post by Benshik » Mon Apr 16, 2007 9:15 am

Hi,

1- I rendered all tracks of a 120 bpm song as audio files.

2- I brought these files in a new project set to 120 bpm. The audio files are not warped.

3- The files get "out of sync" with the grid.
How can that be possible? What isnt 100$ accurate here? Live's rendering, Live's tempo, Live's waveform display?

if I want midi stuff to be in sync with them, so i must automate the damned tempo curve like crazy in the arrangement, which is a bit of a pain...
any idea how to deal with this?

thanx

Ben

Hello,

That sounds weird. It should obviously not be the case. Do you have any way to pack the set and put it on some ftp, or send it via yousendit or the like? I'd love to check the set and see if anything is wrong.

Hello Amaury,
thanx for offering ur help, i jus sent the link to the yousendit file to [email protected]
the project's pretty big so i included only the drums. but i guess thats enough to check the phenomenon..
btw, for the sake of simplicity i wrote in my initial post that the bpm was 120, but it is indeed a song of two tempos. starts at 74.13 bpm, then jumps to 88...
anyways, if you need more bg info dont hesitate to contact me
thanx again for your help

Ben
