slow midi

Hi

I'm running Live6 on my new dual core laptop runing Vista.

I'm experiencing some delays when playing notes trough midi. Even when using my laptop keyboard. (about half a second)

Any idea what might cause this and how it can be fixed?
I'm hardly using cpu power when running live.

Any help?

Hi,

the delay you experience is directly related to the sound card's latency, which you can see in the Preferences, Audio tab, and then to the 'plugin buffer size' in the CPU tab.
