I need to convert a live set i made into an mp3 so that i can send it to people and upload it onto the internet, i tried saving it as an mp3 but the drop down box only says Als. Is there any way i can save it as an mp3 or software i can download to do this.
Thanks for the help.

no dude, just go to the file menu and pull it down and select "save as mp3"
hehe.
It was as if someone shook up a 6 foot can of blood soda and suddenly popped the top.

"save as mp3" isnt in the file drop down list and nor is "render" thereis only "render to disk" and "save set as" but like i said before i can only save it as als. in the 'save set as' option.
Any more advice?

So did you try Render to Disk?
That seems pretty close to "render" to me, enough so that I'd try it.
Then you'll have to use a program to convert from .wav/.aif to mp3.
try searching google for such a program, there's tons.

lol, you wankers...come on, help the brutha out...maybe he'll even pay for the software...
1. render to .wav or .aif
2. get a separate tool, like Audiograbber on PC and Itunes (or whatever the fuck apple shitbags use) and convert your .wav file into an mp3.
3. get out your credit card and pay Ableton for the pirated software
