Yeah I'm sure 18,000 people are totally expecting to starve to death today, and that 100,000 innocent people were expecting to die Iraq.

It's just because these were people of privellage (as most of us here in this forum are) compared to the rest of the world, I can barely make the rent - but I'm not likely to go out 3rd world style at any moment - that's part of what makes it shocking, the other part is that these were people many US/European folks can more identify with.

Here's 18,000 .'s to help you visualize how many people will die TODAY because this great human society can't get it's shit together to pay attention or care or be shocked into action:

heh, its just a coincidence that I seen that movie the other night
its a good flick by the way, if anyone's interested ...obviously its a horror
( it was shown on TV [filmfour]- before you suggest I ordered it off the internet to satisfy my 'passion'

I found your comments on abortion amusing, only for the fact you seem convinced people are apathetic about it. Not me, abortion is a good idea. but anyways, i couldnt be arsed debating it.... I'd just love to see your face if you watched that movie - hoho!
