Hi,
Can anyone tell me the range of qualities and file types ableton can handle.
I have someone coming over later and don't have the manual to hand.
I think the files they have are 88.1khz 24bit aiff files.
thanks for your help.

that should be 88.2 kHz I guess...
the integrated manual in live says that live is able to play every uncompressed sample of any length, sample rate and bit depth.
haven´t tried 88.2 kHz yet - quite uncommon sample rate...?

88.2 khz is common and usable, should be no/problem.
Some people claim it's cleaner to convert 88 to 44 than it is to convert 96 to 44. I can't speak with any authority regarding that claim.

Thanks for the advice.
Yeah its 88.2 (double 44.1). I'll let you know if it goes horribly wrong tonight!
