Yes, I know this is another audio interface thread- but I just want to
ask if anyone here can recommend an audio interface with (at least) 4 preamps for less than £850
(the FF800 costs £850, and the Traveler £570 in the UK, just to give you an idea.)
I'm gonna be recording bands (in bits) which is why I need at least 4 pres.
Stability is a must, as is audio quality. I run a powerbook G4, soon to upgrade to MBP (when the next gen come out!)
The traveller and fireface are great- but as they are both ageing units... I was also wondering if there was anything new around the corner from motu/RME that would be faster and better specified.
Let me know your thoughts.
