How to maximize Macbook performance??

Post by PClark » Thu Apr 26, 2007 12:29 pm

I just got a new Macbook and I'm wondering if anyone has any tips regarding maximizing its performance for running live and freeing up CPU power. Thanks.

Go into Preferences under the Energy section. You can make sure that processing power is the priority over energy savings.

Do NOT install any programs you absolutely DO NOT need. Run only Live.

Maintain/defrag your harddrive regularly.
