Note color in note editor

Post by topey » Tue May 01, 2007 6:05 pm

In MIDI note editor notes appears normally as red bricks/blocks.

In my LIVE 5.2 happened so, that suddenly in drawing mode all the new notes started to appear as white bricks, and they were not audible in preview.

I could not find which was button/selection that caused change, but it got it fixed by deleting the clip end creating a new clip where draving mode was functioning normally, and then going back with undo´s and suddenly odd behaviour was gone.

Was it some kind of error, or did I accidently enter to different working mode?

The transparency of the notes is proportional to the velocity,
perhaps velocity was 0?

That was it :)

Thanks

Funny how simple is the answer and how huge the obstacle was in the situation where I finally bought a midi keyboard, sat down, and took a manual and had the idea: "Now I wade through whole manual chapter by chaptrer, and study whole midi side super cautiounesly"...

..and then in a very beginning note blocks just change they color, loose they sound and no explanation could be found from manual...

Might be mighty motivation eater, at least it was a great patience tester.

Anyway now it´s OK

:D
