not to be silly, but i bet there arent 500 people who are that attentive that its gonna get scooped in 10 minutes or anything.
im sure the window will be at least an hour.
i only see the same 25 names posting here anyway....
good luck to all.

I'm wondering why one cannot just send the beta to a friend and he enters his SN,, if the server gives out 500 in 5 minutes.

Well a bit of statistical trivia it took about 2 hours for this thread to get 500 hits.

Well the first hour or so was quite a ride ! Also as folks came in and out of the forum there was some 'waiting-to-see' behavior. So although some reasonable percentage were multiples I think its still interesting.

there must be more than 500 registered users... other wise the upgrade of $100'ish x 500 users would be only $50,000... $50k a year is a pretty lean budget for even only a lean mean programming team. Convert that to the Euro and it'll only get smaller hehe...

theres 2833 registered members on this forum - if only half of them have a legit copy thats around 3 times more than 500 - never mind all the guests.
