I recently bought Sampler to replace Impulse (amongst other things) in Live 6. I was having problems with Impulse samples cutting each other off randomly - http://www.ableton.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=58815 - as far as I know, the problem hasn't been solved as yet.
As I was working on an old project I started before I bought Sampler, I decided that I would transfer a drum track into my now standard Sampler setup: I create an Instrument Rack, put multiple instances of Sampler in there and have a different drum sample on each of them. After I set it up, I copied and pasted the midi clip into Sampler. With the settings on both Sampler and Impuse basically identical, I expected the tracks to sound the same. However, it seems they are slightly out of sync, and create a phasing effect when played together.
Does this indicate that my Sampler Instrument Rack setup has a slight delay? Or is there something else I could be overlooking in the chain?
Setup: Live 6.0.7, WinXP, 2.4GHz, 2GB RAM, M-Audio Firewire410.
Small delay with Sampler

I can do it by simply using one instance and putting each sample on a different zone layer, but this isn't particularly good for individual editing.
Usually I have one instance for each drum and layer each hit that way. I think it ends up with a better result.
In the case I mentioned above, I only had 3 or 4 hits, therefore 3 or 4 instances of Sampler.
