actually, I dont know how far in it is in the US, but it's totally cool to watch it at the start - that shit is well funny - it's like funniest home videos or something

the shit people do to get on telly is hilarious and it beggars belief that people will queue up for so many hours just when they are so obviously abysmal, but it's also amazing that people will queue up to sing a limerick in a superman suit

you just have to stop watching it when they start getting "serious"

I'll give you that point, forge.

I gotta admit I saw the first few episodes when the first season started and it was hilarious shit. Then things got serious, and it got boring.

I don't watch AI, but I did hear that one of the contestants that are still in it (Blake I think his name is) mentioned using Ableton Live to do a remix of a Bon Jovi tune that is supposed to be really good...I heard he mentioned it on the show...can't verify it though...anybody else hear this?

Dude, I freakin' accidentally saw the show for 2 min. when he gave the shout-out to Ableton Live. What an embarrassment! Holy shit. His performance was a cliche of a pastiche. His beatboxing makes the Fat Boys on afternoon public television look like the Geto Boyz. NO... not good; LAME!
Blake is the new Sanjaya - an embarassing joke that devalues that show even further into the toilet, if that's even possible

So my wife comes in after watching American Idol and says "Hey... That guy who beatboxes just said he uses Ableton Live"
