Live 6.0 - Allocating more memory

Post by jace55 » Fri May 04, 2007 5:19 am

Hi All,

Im a PC user and have just upgraded to 2GB of memory

Ive noticed on the CPU usage screen Live only uses a max of 500MB, Ive gone through the options within Live but I can see nothing about allocating more memory to the program. Does anyone know how I can allocate more memory?

It just seems this 2GB is a waste..

Help is much appreciated.

Thx

i'm pretty sure live and windows'll take acre of that automatically, but if you really wanna load it up find the 'RAM' switch in all of your clips and click it. it loads the wav files into ram instead of streaming them...
you probably don't want them all in RAM though, might cause other problems.
Hp Elitebook 2.8Ghz. Live 7.0.14 & Live 8.1.5, XP Pro. and stuff...

im still curious to know why Live is only using 500mb of RAM when it starts stalling.. surely it should dig for more?
