I bought an M-Audio Trigger finger to play with and it came packaged with Ableton Live Lite 4.
Now I went through the tutorial and I get to the part where I am supposed to use the MIDI mapping. it shows the MIDI button in the tutotorial but the button is not there. It also says to try Control+M but that does nothing. Key mapping works fine.
Is there no MIDI controller support in the version of Ableton? Why would they package them together if they don't work together?
I am going to upgrade to Live Lite 6 right now and see if that gets me anywhere.
Any clue if I am retarded or if Live Lite doesnt support MIDI devices?
Maybe I am retarded?
Hello,
First thing yo should do is upgrade to Live lite 6 M-audio edition. It is free:
http://www.ableton.com/upgrade?type=free_m_audio
Then, as far as I know, the MIDI mapping should be available.

Amaury
