button on the transport that turns light blue after you record automation on a track when i turn it off it will turn on again at the automation after i press play and i cant hear my automation changes here in my case a volume change on a individual track. Does anyone know the reason why this thing is turning bright blue when i play my sequence and not playing my volume changes in the manual this button when lighted means:

1.It reminds you that the current state of controls differs from the state captured in the arrangement
2.you can click on it to reactivate all automation and therby return to the automation state as written "on tape" (which i did) and the fucking button lights up when the sequence gets to the automation part)

so anyone have any suggestions on how to solve this problem? why is it lighting up when it gets to the volume change?

The most common problem with the RTA button is because of MIDIyoke or similar. Could also be a 'leaky" MIDI controller

i've had this problem before. in my case it turned out one of the plugins i was using was spontaneously changing one of it's values meaning that whenever i started the arrangement live immediately assumed that i'd changed something and the light'd go on. check if the undo menu is showing something odd like 'undo value # 62". or cut straight to it and turn all your non ableton plugs off and turn them on one by one and see which one might be doing it.

Don't worry about MIDI yoke if you don't know what it is. That's a good sign
