I can't figure out how to install a plug-in

Post by EyeBallKid » Tue May 15, 2007 7:36 pm

You'll all think I'm an idiot probably, but I cannot figure out for the life of me how to install Zebra. I've never had a plug-in before. I've got Live on my Mac, and I put in the Zebra CD that I got from a magazine and there's no install icon anywhere. There was some kind of an extra program that I thought might be involved, and I "installed" that program, but I don't even know where it went (it says it went to like five different places). There are no real instructions for installation in the CD anywhere, and the very brief instructions in the magazine were confusing to me. Is there some special way you're supposed to do it? I also tried just dragging the files to my desktop, which sometimes makes it install with Macs, but that didn't work either. I got so mad I ripped up the magazine and threw it away, but I can liberate the CD from the back of my closet if anyone can give me some advise.

What kind of plugin is it? VST, AU, what what?
Suit #1: I mean, have you got any insight as to why a bright boy like this would jeopardize the lives of millions?
Suit #2: No, sir, he says he does this sort of thing for fun.

I think it has both versions on the CD, and I'm not really sure what the difference is. I'm thinkin VST though.
