Hi there,
Just bought a Access Virus TI Keyboard.
Opinions about this synth are apreciated.
Are there better choices (not soft synth´s)?
Thank you!

What if we think it's crap?
Just play with it. Enjoy it. Learn it.

I have to admit the OP's post is a bit strange, especially after you look at his list of gear.Lo-Fi Massahkah wrote:You really want that now that you've bought it?![]()

If you bought it, you know what it does, what it is good for, and you have a whole load of crap to compare it against.
It's one thing when a post about a VSTi comes in like this, and it looks like a warez kiddie, but dropping a couple grand on a synth and then asking, "Is it good" is a bit like saying....hehe, I've got enough money to buy one of these, hehe.
I've got some ice cream, you don't got no ice cream. Wanna lick? Psych!

Maybe next time i would be a warez teenager...

PS
have you considered being a ice cream salesman?

Sorry, no hard feelings. But you have to admit, normally people ask before they buy something what peoples' opinions are.
In all honesty, I love the virus, and have been trying to save all my pennies to get one. It will most likely be the first hardware synth that I buy, but I might have to get Logic first, and definitely an Ultralite.
It does depend a little on what type of music you are making. IMHO it is better suited for darker, dancy, tech/trance/house stuff. But it is pretty versatile.
It is on my most wanted list. It's really great for that plucky, stab, chordal sound, as well as huge pads, and evidently with the new wavetables, and ability to sweep through them can get some pretty good PPG like stuff.
So, enjoy. It is very deep, especially with Virus control.
Best,
AB
