A sad but true story;

A GC here in town (at that time it was the only one; now there's four of them) contacted me about fifteen years ago; they wanted me to run their keyboard department. The interview was going great until I said I had a couple bands I was playing out with...

"Ah... we can't have that. We want you to devote your whole time and energy to working here".

"But, how else am I going to know how this works in a live situation or not?"

"We'll tell you..."

Instead, I told them just what I thought of that idea. Somehow, I didn't get the job :lol:

a) Contemptfully argue with him about why he wants extra lights, since your favorite guitarists all play with heavy gauge strings.

b) Advise that worn-out strings are an indication that you need a new guitar, and try to sell him a Hamer.

c) Advise that worn-out strings indicate you need a new amp, and try to sell him a Behringer.

d) Ask if he'd like a copy of Reason to go with the strings.
LMAO!
