don't be afraid of what other people will think. if you think it rocks, it does. if you think you're selling out on a tune you're working on, you're probably right. trust yourself, and don't be afraid to go out on a limb.

Tip : giving people advice is pointless, they just think you are arrogant and patronizing.

Instead, trick them into making the same mistakes you did.
That'll teach em.

muah ha ha ha ha..........

Acctually my tip is,.....

DO NOT BUY ABLETON LIVE, you will just find yourself sucked into the majic
"must make more music right now" Vortex where you will find yourself glued to a computer for countless upon countless hours till you are so tired you think you could die, at wich you will try to sleep but alas no,

you will fid your self in a quasi nightmare state where all you can see is visions of new routings, and .....yes rack designs,.....and "wait,.........

nooo now i suddenly know how to make that big build.......
I need to copy from impulse one and pate to impulse two, but offset 1/16
and filter sewwp one but have the really big beat tripling super new ninja robotronic delay drop in for the last bar and......................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................INSERT RANDOM ANALOG SYNTH FLOATY NOISES HERE..........................................................................................................................

and there will be the unquenchable burning desire for ever more knobs,...........you will probably for the rest of your life now chase after evry shiney knob, slider, button, trigger,....(I really want a zendrum www.zendrum.com ) and new cool, iterfacey, octo-bot soon to be driving you crazy things that make various elecrtonic stuff will be able to have a convorsation amongst themselves

I must add that it most surely will be in a language you can barely understand

but you'll learn, by spending these long nights trying to learn every one of the infinate number of ways you make music with.............
