do you Battery fans find assigning keys or pads to Battery cells easy?

i was very disappointed to find it was easier to assign Live's clips to
keys and buttons and pads and things than Battery.

is there an easy way to assign Battery cells that doesn't involve researching
what midi note # goes where?.... particularly w Live...
