Firebox Volume outputs too loud
Greetins,
I am routing the firebox outputs to separte channels on a pioneer djm800 mixer it sounds amazing! The only problem is that the output volume is coming in wayyy to high so the gain on the mixer has to be set almost to the lowest level. I tried the firbox mixer software but whenever I move anything from the faders nothing happens. Also on the mixer I get
Mic 1
Mic 2
Line 3
Line 4
Spdif L
Spdif R
Is there a way to get this
Line 1
Line 2
Line 3
Line 4
Line 5
Line 6
Or am I doing something wrong please help cause I have tried everything possible but cant seem to get the volume output for all channels any lower and I dont want to lower the volume on ableton.
Thanks for your time,
Ofo

that mixer is for the inputs, not outputs. the outputs are nice and hot, but it's not a bad thing to have the gain controls all the way down. as long as your faders don't also have to get putted down too. it should make for a slightly less noisy setup.

Isn't there some way to regulate output volumes on the firebox?

I went through this personally myself. No, there is no way to control the output levels. They're way to freaking hot. It slammed my channel inputs until they clipped on both my mixers (Xone 92 and a Phonic mixer). And everyone thought I was smoking crack when I tried to explain this.... Even at The Guitar Center. It sucked ass. Even put a call into Presonus. They were friendly, but unhelpful to be honest. They said buy the Firestudio if you need to adjust the levels. So, well, I did. Anyhow, yeah you can adjust the levels now with the software. See if you can exchange your shit with an upgrade to the Firestudio with a little more coin?
But if you can't ............ Then you're screwed bud!
