Delay in previewing samples in browser....

when I'm previewing my .wav drum samples in the browser on the left, there is a noticeable delay from when I click and hear the sound. This is particularly annoying when I'm playing my mix and want to listen to my various samples in the browser simultaneously.....Also when I do that it seems to wait until the beginning of a bar before the sample plays...is there any way to make it immediate? Some kind of setting im missing?

the sample preview follows the global quantization setting (at the top, in the transport section)..

It's probably set to 1 bar?

Lower the quantize setting to 1/4 or none or anything that'll work for you..
