Houston We Have A Problem.

Post by Shane Little » Sun May 13, 2007 9:27 pm

I just finished this mix in my hotel room in Houston so I figured this was a fitting title. This one is a bit faster than the last two I think. I haven't really listened to it yet but I did try some new mastering techniques so please give me some feedback on quality etc., I'm still playing with a couple programs to get as much quality out of my mixes as possible. Enjoy!

This has some compression errors I'm having trouble fixing, this will be re-done but this is the rough draft. Please give me feedback on quality please.

There he is!!! HAHA, thank you. My levels are so f'd up on that. A friend of mine told me to put compressors on each clip and eq 4 on the master (which didnt make sense but for the fact that that info came from one of our Live guru friends), so I did it. It should have been the other way. Now I'm having trouble fixing it, so I'm gonna remix it tomorrow. I am learning tho. Thanks for the props as usual!!

I reduced my volumes on each track by 10 decibles, rendered. Then into Sound Forge, Wave hammered it, and a normalize. Thanks! I poked around in yours, sounds good. I'll check it all a bit later tonight.
