I think that a lot of people blame themselves and the owners of the audio companies should be thankfull
I have no choice, have to reconfigure... and dream with a stable set!
thanks, i will look th site!

For shure its possibe!
I am not a DJ...
I am a one band man and I am mounting a show.
Live do for me the playback track that i bounced from nuendo, my guitar and vocal fx (and program changes) and live vstis.
Put space between the musics and acess tham via markers/foot controller.
I love guitar rig but use ampeg from IK for the bass, just gooooood..
For this you mus rack a desktop computer, satas em raid 0 for audio, a separete for vsti, and its a peice of a cake.
The main work is with program changes, volumes and plugs on-off.
Piece of a cake,,,
But dont rexpect to control wah pedal of the guitar rig from your 1010, for me i got only 8 minutes without a midi crash
PM IF YOU NEED A TIP

Yeah, I know quite a few people who do. However, they're using rackmount PCs or very high end laptops and using interfaces that'll let you go down to buffer sizes of 64 samples without problems. They're also running at either 88k or 96k for the sample rate. Practically zero latency, but the CPU load's up there.

yes, i try to do a thing near yours, but i've a little time to spend on it, and now about 2 years passes, my sistem is about to work, but i need some other improvements, yes, the most part of the work came from programming changes automation from fcb1010, a very boring procedure....but i think my laptop hasn't enough power to do this. Moreover i think toshiba satellite a100 has some strange compatility problem....

i would use a laptop....i don't want to stress myself to mount cables keyboards and monitors!!!!
but i think my lap can't do the job.....i don't want to say a bullshit, but, if i've understand the question, the overall latency depends from suondcard, but also from the power of the computer....
could you tell me a minimum laptop-soundcard configuration to do this? maybe a core2duo 64 bit with a motu ultralight?
could someone confirm me if Hp is the best productor for musical purpouses? (i don't have the money to get an alienware)
