Hi, I recently purchased a TonePort UX1 and I've been fiddling with it to learn how to record my voice with guitar accompaniment. I started out by trying to record just the guitar. I have two questions. 1) I read in the manual that I need a pre-amp. I have one in my guitar, but the sound, as I play into the machine, is very distorted. It sounds like I am using a fuzz box or something. Is that normal or can I disengage that function and get a normal sounding recording of my guitar? 2) I can't figure out how the GearBox software links to Live6. How do I do that?
