hello there.
When I rewire Reason 3.04 with Live 6 , I notice a strange behaviour of the redrum unit.
I create a midi clip in Live playing C1 note at each 1/4 beat. The midi is routed to reason redrum kit . C1 note is to trigger the redrum 1 pad. I loaded there kick drum.
When I play the clip the strange thing is that redrum is only playing one note every 4 or 5 notes. Say it plays the first note that nothing for 4 or 5 notes than again it plays one note an again nothing for 4 or 5 notes. When I use my midi keyboard to play , there is no problem at all. Everytime I hit the C1 key, redrums plays it. I am not sure if it makes sense or if you can see what I mean. I must admit my english is not perfect.
Does anyone have had the same things and how can it be solved ?
Many thanks in advance.
Rewiring Reason 3 into Live 6
Hi,
We are still working on a strange issue, and could not yet fix it, but let me ask: do you have Melodyne or Plogue Bidule installed? If so, does it make a difference if you uninstall it?
If your issue is the one I think off, turning OFF Multi-core support in Live Preferences should also fix the problem, even though it is not a very convenient solution.
Regards,
Amaury

Hello
Thanks for the reply.
Please note that I dont use Melodyne but I also had ORION PLATINUM installed wich also use rewire. I de-install it and reason wroked normally. No more issue. However, I also have FL studio 7. I activated the rewire client of FL studio 7. I tried then to rewire reason in Live and the problem re-appear. On my system it seems that reason is working fine when it is the only rewire client available.
I didnt try to desable the multi core support in live though.

Also seem to be suffering from this issue... live 6.0.7 on a macbook pro, trying to just play some midi clips to the NN-XT in reason 3.0.5, some notes just don't make it.
Multicore support turned off fixes the issue, i'll try uninstalling plogue bidule later... need to fix up a track now that this is working.
