IMO it depends what you want it For !!
The Uc33 is good for the sends soft knobs..But if you want one mainly for VSTi soft knobs then get the BCR 2000 as it is total recall,I got rid of my UC33e cause when you tweak VSTi softknobs with it it wacks to the position of the UC33e knob so you have to turn the knob to get back to the original sound position..With the BCR you tweak and it moves the softknob from the position the softknob is in..Get me??

i would love a combination of the two.. a UC33e with moving faders/total recall, plus a couple of buttons above the knobs like the BCR has got...

uc-33e

-most knobs/sliders per sq. ft.
-bulletproof
-pretty in the dark (if you paint it to get rid off that horrid m-audio silver)
..... . . . . . . . . .

It's called "Endless Rotary".
I got UC33e without this function I need. So maybe I'll buy BCR2000.

uc33 sucks !!!!
BCR2000 is one heck of a midi controller....
I found that the BCFs moving faders engines make a lot of noise...
never thought I would say this about behringer gear...
But I LOVE my BCR !!!!

BCR2000 all the way. Really surprised that all these years later still no-one has released a similar competing product. A metal cased BCR type thing would sell pretty well IMO.

I CANNOT get soft takeover/pich-up mode working with the UC-33e. I've even asked Ableton Tech Support for help and got nothing...

I know that! With "automap" is OK but band/present-switch function built in UC33e.
