.Oftentimes, while working on a song I run across a sample that I know would be perfect for an entirely different song (or different genre) that I'm working on. It would be great if Live had some form of built-in cataloging so I could add this sample to a catalog for the particular song (or genre) that I have in mind to help me find it again later. (Currently I have to keep all this information in an Excel spreadsheet that I have open while working in Live.)
A related feature that would also be great is if Live could open one of the browser windows to the location of any given ample in the current Live song. (And it should be able to locate the original sample location even in the case where the song has been saved "self-contained".)
Live's quite a breakthrough technology... you guys should be really proud of yourselves and what you're providing to the artistic community. Thanks for all your hard work.
