Can't Use MIDI Keyboard with MIDI instruments in L6

I'm able to assign the knobs, sliders, and keys in a session, but can't use the actual keys themselves on my Oxygen 8 to to drum beats and stuff in ableton, suggestions?

sounds like you have 'remote' enabled, but not 'track'

in MIDI preferences
