hi everyone:
so this is the case:i installed live 5.01 on my nem mac 2.o ghz, 1 gb ram but live goes crazy with only four or less midi tracks
the driver is the core audio built in-is it the driver?....
help!!!

You probably don't have the Universal Binary version of Live.

you need ver. 5.2, and as this is a paid update, you should think about
upgrading to live 6.
You could also install windows via bootcamp and run ableton 5 in windows,
the performance will be much better, but i would go for 6 with
multi processor support which will give another performance boost

Why should you get it for free? I didn't get it for free, I certainly don't see why you should.
