CPU over 100%
CPU over 100%
Hello,
When i'm using Live 6 and I change te BPM of the stage sometimes my CPU meter jumps very high! Sometimes 500% or even higher!
I've turned all applications off, but it doesn't help!
My CPU meter is usseally around 40%..
I'm using a Intel Core Duo T2300 @ 1.66 GHZ and my soundscard is M-Audio Firewire Audiophile.
How can this happen?

do you ear audio glitches in your output. My problem was just weird cpu spikes but they were not affecting my sets playback. Like it was jus the meter going crazy and not the system.abbie wrote:

So anybody knows what to do?
Hi,
I had the same problem with a rme fireface.. I don't think that comes from the audio card. I stopped the network and the internal audio card of my Asus laptop and for the moment I don't have this problem any more.. I need to test again to determine if it's the internal soundcard or the network...
(or maybe a relationship with this if you have activated the auto-update>> http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/deta ... n#Overview

Sorry but ableton sometimes show cpu hits over 100%. It prolly just means it's overloaded.TITBAG wrote:it is impossible. 100% is the maximum possible amount of any percentage.
Abbie, maybe if you post your windows process and your computer specs we'll be able to help you better.
btw did you tweak your windows for better audio performances ?
maybe you can refer to musicxp.net for that, it could be helpful.
